“Let’s see action, let’s see people,
Let’s see freedom, let’s see who cares”
Pete Townshend – The Who (1971)
Sports clubs are vibrant, warm, friendly places. They are places where contests are fought, events take place, friends are made and legends are created.
National governing bodies of sport have been working hard to develop adapted forms of their sport in order to appeal to a wider and younger audience and to encourage growth in their sports community. It is clubs that are the heart of the sports community.
Clubs create and cater for diversity and provide caring environments for families, friends and competitors. Clubs nurture talent and activity helping individuals to learn valuable life skills and create new friendships. Clubs are the places where participation is turned into performance and where activity grows life-long friendships for individuals to benefit from far into the future.
London Clubs and London schools have achieved unprecedented success in national Handball competitions.
London Handball Association is helping to create new action, new people who play Handball and clubs who care about their sport.
